Requiem for the Living is an indigenous South African musical composition for choirs, orchestra and soloists inspired by the plight of children orphaned by AIDS.  

 

This composition has given identity to a section 21 company REQUIEM FOR THE LIVING (abbreviated to RFTL) which is registered as a non-profit organisation (NPO, 2010) formed to raise public awareness and funds for the disadvantaged. RFTL NPO attained      

            PBO tax exemption status in 2018.
