Olusegun Soyemi : Soloist

Olusegun Soyemi, (counter tenor)    26 years old, was born in Lagos Island, Nigeria. He completed a Diploma in Music at MUSON School of Music., Lagos.  His interest in music was first noticed being always engaged in church music.  From being a gifted boy soprano, he decided to develop his falsetto register after his voice changed.  

From 2015 he enrolled at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University as a B Mus student with Voice as   main instrument. In the past year he has become a noticed and appreciated counter tenor and is in great demand for performances.  He was soloist in numerous Baroque concert presentations.  Segun is currently preparing for his LTCL in voice under the tutelage of Lionel van Zyl
