Rexleigh  holds B.Mus (Cum Laude) and M.Mus degrees in music from the University of Cape Town, a Diplome Superieur d'Execution from the Ecole Normale in Paris, France and a D.Mus in Composition from the University of Pretoria. 

 

She has taught music at Roedean school, Parktown, Johannesburg, Universities of the Witwatersrand and Pretoria, and currently resides in the UK.
